Many people often confuse Outlook and Outlook Express. Although they
look similar in name, they are, in fact, two separate programs. Outlook
Express is the e-mail program that comes with Internet Explorer (IE).
All browsers come with an e-mail program. Netscape has Netscape mail
and IE has Outlook Express.

Both Outlook and Outlook Express provide access to send and receive
e-mail. And, both can be set as your browser default e-mail program,
but Outlook is not free.
